In the summer of 2015, I was commissioned by Google to create three site-specific installations for their new engineering headquarters in Kitchener, Ontario. One installation, "Indoor Endor", consists of 10 components traveling through all four floors of the 100-year-old building, formerly a rubber manufacturing plant. Another, "Chronos", is a great-grandfather clock, 5 feet wide by 11 feet tall. The third, "The Wormhole Incubator" is a secret room, accessed through a bookcase. Everything in this room is canted at an angle, with some furnishings split in two on opposite sides of the room. When you enter, you are between time.
